Job Description
At Beaumont Tiles, we're more than Australia's leading retailer of tiles, flooring and bathroomware. We're trusted partners to builders, tilers, renovators, developers and trade professionals across the country.
We're looking for a motivated and commercially minded Retail Trade Specialist to join our Wetherill Park team. This is a customer-focused sales role where you'll build strong relationships within the local trade community, identify new business opportunities, and help trade customers achieve successful project outcomes.
Reporting to the Store Manager, you'll play a key role in growing Beaumont Tiles' trade business while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
About the Role
As the Retail Trade Specialist, you'll be responsible for developing and managing relationships with trade customers, growing sales opportunities, and positioning Beaumont Tiles as the preferred supplier for trade products and services within your local market.
Key responsibilities include:
Building strong relationships with builders, tilers, renovators, developers and trade contractors
Identifying and converting new trade business opportunities
Managing and growing existing trade customer accounts
Preparing quotations, project pricing and competitive offers
Actively networking within the local building and construction community
Following up project opportunities and maintaining a sales pipeline
Providing expert advice across tiles, flooring, bathroomware and trade products
Collaborating with the showroom team to deliver outstanding customer outcomes
Supporting trade customers from enquiry through to project completion
Maintaining strong product knowledge and keeping up to date with industry trends

About You
You are a natural relationship builder who enjoys creating new opportunities and developing long-term customer partnerships. You thrive in a sales-focused environment and take pride in delivering exceptional customer service.
To be successful in this role, you'll bring:
Experience in trade sales, retail sales, account management, customer service or business development
A passion for building customer relationships and growing business
Strong communication and influencing skills
Confidence preparing quotes, following up opportunities and closing sales
A proactive and self-motivated approach to identifying new opportunities
Strong organisational and administrative skills
Good computer literacy and the ability to learn new systems
A genuine commitment to delivering outstanding customer experiences
Experience within the building, construction, renovation, flooring, bathroomware or home improvement industries will be highly regarded but is not essential.
