Job Description

THE ROLE…

We’re looking for a motivated Trade Sales Consultant to join our dynamic Midland team. If you enjoy building strong relationships, providing expert advice and working in a fast-paced retail environment, this could be your next great opportunity.

This is a hands-on, diverse position where no two days are the same.

Reporting to the Store Manager, you will:

  • Develop trusted relationships with trade customers, builders and renovators
  • Deliver expert product advice through a consultative sales approach
  • Drive sales performance and contribute to team targets
  • Process sales accurately and manage customer follow-ups
  • Complete day-to-day administrative tasks
  • Assist with warehouse duties including customer pick-ups and receiving deliveries
  • Maintain a well-presented and organised showroom

Your focus will be delivering an exceptional customer experience - ensuring every customer leaves confident in their choices.

To be successful, you will have:

  • Experience in retail sales or a related industry
  • A proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets
  • Strong relationship-building and influencing skills
  • A mature, solutions-focused approach to problem-solving
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Confidence using technology and handling administrative tasks
  • Physical capability to lift and move products (up to 25kg)
  • A current forklift licence, or willingness to obtain one
  • Trade sales experience (highly regarded but not essential)
